my best friend's wedding

my sweet, wonderful and just darlin' roommate of 3 wonderful years was joined in marriage last weekend.
i am so tickled for her and i know that she and jimmy are going to have a beautiful life together.

a little life update

so, for anyone out there still reading.....

my life is good.
graduate school is super crazy hard. didn't know what to expect, but well it is. all that being said i love it. i work in the campus activities office where i "oversee" two amazing student groups.
music makers and campus activities board. the two are VERY different and i love them both.

the summer was super hectic. as most of you know my dad fell off of a ladder and shattered his ankle and broke his pelvis, two days after while he was still in the hospital had a heart attack. so, that has been a huge change in my life these days. he actually had one of his last doctors appointments (with my amazing cousin john aka DR. KOSKO, he is big time now) and he will be getting a brace soon that will hopefully allow him to walk again. so, thank you all for your continued prayers.

in other news my life is so great and the Lord continues to bless and surround me with wonderful people who love me and most importantly HIM.

other than the premier, my life has been pretty low key.
i didn't share many pics from the premier, but here is one of price and me -

just got back from the world premiere of THE HELP.

what a blessing.

got to see the cast again & catch up for a minute. but even watching the movie in the academy theater was an amazing experience.

thanks for being apart of this incredible journey.

the help : in la

it was only fitting that i fly cross country for the first cast & crew screening of the help.
with my best friend.

sarah and i left last saturday morning from jackson and flew to los angeles!
we stayed with sweet sweet russell and monique in their precious apartment in hancock park. (not to mention we were 2 blocks from where will & kate were staying)
a suprise trip to universal studios back lot, a great mexican meal, fun breakfast, the chinese theater, melrose & watching a great movie was the perfect way to spend a 36 hour trip.

we had great food and fellowship over the course of the trip, getting to see SO many special people that i feel like have had a huge part in shaping my life over the last year.

the movie i must say, is absolutely unbelievable.
let me promise you. it's a must see. seriously. don't believe me? i'll pay you back for your movie ticket if you don't LOVE it. (my customer service guarantee)

overwhelmed with gratitude

it is so hard to believe that all of this is finally becoming real.
a real movie.


thanks so much to all of my friends and family that were so encouraging during shooting and now so excited for me as this comes full circle.
i couldn't be more thrilled.
i don't think i have ever been as proud to be apart of something so fantastic.

in the midst i am reminded....

what's next?

so i've been a terrible "blogger" lately.
the only reason i really ever started one was because so many people wanted to keep up with the movie. (not really even me, just the movie, so they got a lot more than they bargained for to say the least.)

as of yesterday i am a starkville resident again. dad and i took the moving truck back to 39759 and now i live at 11 page street in the cotton district.
i will be taking classes and starting my new graduate assistant ship on january 4th which i am super excited about.

since the movie i have just been traveling, sleeping (a ton), and hanging out with friends.
greenwood has been such a blessing. (i thought i would absolutely hate it.) i have a wonderful community of great friends here, we call ourselves team greenwood. so i have stated numerous times that i still expect to keep my membership card to "the team".

thanks so much to everyone who has prayed for me over the past year, my life is so amazing and i couldn't be more thankful for everyone in it and the opportunities the Lord has provided me with.

i plan on still keeping up with the blog (that is if there is anything in my life worth blogging about.)
