and that's a wrap.
well kinda.
thursday was our last day of shooting. day 59 of 58 (we had to add a day of shooting).
i still have about 3 weeks of post-production.
friday and saturday 200 of my new best friends left town. this business really is just like the circus, it's crazy.
thursday night, 9 of us, including chris columbus (who directed mrs. doubtfire, home alone, and the first 3 harry potter movies-who was one of our producers), michael barnathan, george, dash, ali, bryce, blake, adam and myself went to po-monkeys in cleveland for a night of singing and dancing to blues music. what a great night full of fun memories.
saturday was another fun filled day with my best buddy laura GULLETT. so wierd. she's married now!
had a great meal in taylor, ms and fun shopping on the square. so thankful for the blessing that she has been in my life.
then... drum roll please.....
mississippi state beat florida.
ahhhhhhhhhhhh i cried. it was amazing.
such a great weekend to begin the last leg of this journey in my life. my last scheduled work day is november 4th, but we are talking about maybe finishing a few days earlier. then, i'll have a little break!

less than 10 hours in starkville=a week of happiness
so, as most of you probably know i was kinda involved with the student association at mississippi state.
and one of my many passions, homecoming.
homecoming announcements were last night, or well supposed to be last night.
did i sprint to my car when i got off work and drive to starkville just to eat sushi and hear the results?
yup. it was such a great "pick-me up" after a REALLY LONG couple of weeks.
now i am counting down the seconds until homecoming weekend. seriously.
happy humpday. congrats to the 2010 homecoming court.

the social network
i went to memphis this weekend to see ashley.
and, what. great. therapy. (i owe her an edible arrangement for all she did this weekend)
we went to see the social network on saturday night. it was fantastic. and ironically & unintentionally talked about facebook the entire way home that night.
one of my favorite things about shows is product place. it is a great was to fund a lot if not most of your budget for a film, and this movie had a lot of great product placement.
also, my dear friend curt beech worked on it. the photography is also very impressive.
